Is CannaLog really free?
Yes — the free tier covers everything most patients need: cabinet, session logging, delivery tracking, doctor-ready PDF reports, the Travel Letter, and the patient pass. No credit card to sign up, no time limit, no feature locked behind a 14-day trial.
When is CannaLog+ pricing announced?
The exact monthly figure is announced shortly before the public launch of the paid tier. Patients with a CannaLog account at that point lock in the founding-patient rate; the price you see at sign-up doesn't rise even if the public price does later.
What's the catch with the free tier?
There isn't one. The free tier is funded by CannaLog+ subscriptions and clinic partnerships — we will never run ads, sell your data, or accept sponsored placements. The features that are CannaLog+-only (AI Overview, multi-prescription consolidation, advanced outcome analytics, unlimited clinician share links) are genuinely advanced — most patients are well-served by the free tier.
Can I cancel CannaLog+ and keep my data?
Yes. Downgrading from CannaLog+ to the free tier keeps every session, prescription, and report you've logged. CannaLog+-only outputs (e.g. AI Overview summaries) become read-only but don't disappear. Full account deletion remains a one-click option in Settings at any tier.
Does my clinic pay for CannaLog?
No — CannaLog is patient-owned and patient-funded. We work directly with clinics on integration and the verified-clinic badge, but no clinic pays per patient and no clinic gets access to your data without your explicit, time-limited share link.
What happens if CannaLog shuts down?
Every piece of your tracked data is fully exportable as JSON + PDF from Settings, free or premium, at any time. If we ever stopped operating we'd give a minimum of 90 days' notice and a final bulk export. Your data is portable by design.
